Bol.com is different to other online booksellers.
It was relaunched in September 2002 to offer its
customers the best possible deals and prices on all the
latest books.
They offer upto 60% off bestsellers compared to high
street stores and also upto 20% off every other title
they sell.
Be aware that the 60% offers on bestsellers can be
lowered as the book comes off the bestsellers list.
Bol charges £1 postage and package per book upto 3
books when the service is then free!
To benefit from these deals all you have to do is join
the Bol membership. In order to do that you just
have to buy 1 more book from bol.com within 6 months of
the 1st purchase.
They don't offer every title published as they claim
that in order to give there customers the best possible
deals they have to limit to which books they sell. Bol
also doesn't sell videos and DVD's for the same reason
although they will perhaps in the future.
Bol.com is run by Book Club Associates (BCA), which is
an organisation within DirectGroup Bertelsmann.
Ordering from Bol.com
To order any title, click on the 'Add to Basket' or 'Buy
Now' button. This will take you to the Shopping Basket
where your selected item will be listed.
You can still go back
and add more items to the basket. Just click on the
Continue Shopping button.
When you have finished
choosing your titles, go to the Shopping Basket again.
You can do this by clicking on the word 'BASKET' on the
left hand side or at the very top of any page.
